On Thursday, the Supreme Court put a temporary hold on the execution of a Texas man with the name of Lester Bower, which has been on death row for 30 years. The Court decided to postpone the execution until the justices decide to look more into Lester’s case. Back in 1984 he was convicted in being part of a murder of four men while attempting to steal an ultra light aircraft. The state says that he was "properly convicted and sentenced to die" for the awful murders which consisted of Bobby Tate, Philip Good, Ronald Mayes, and Jerry Brown. His lawyers are of course trying to defend him, saying he did not abuse the legal system. The Court will soon bring up the situation in an upcoming closed door conference.
